The 3rd Annual Central Coast Oyster & Music Festival

313858_517484624968432_2081706323_n The “one of a kind” Third Annual Central Coast Oyster & Music Festival has been voted by Fox News as #4 of the Top Ten Oyster Festivals in the nation and is the largest Oyster Festival on the West Coast. You will not want to miss out! This spectacular tradition was a HUGE success with close to 4,000 shuckers and jivers – the largest and most unique first year event on the Central Coast! This year will be a full day Music Festival along with amazing art installations held in the beautiful city of Avila Beach, California on Saturday June 7th, from 12-8 PM.

Local foodies and newcomers alike will truly experience the perks of the Central Coast. Morro Bay Oyster Co Pacific Gold Oysters will, of course, be the main cuisine of the event, but alternative choices will also be provided.

In addition to the delectable flavors of fresh oysters, the festival will include special features such as whimsical structures from SpinCycle, a locally based event art installation company who first started at Burning Man creating beautiful designs and unique environments within the festival. SpinCycle will work alongside Bamboo DNA, based out of Santa Barbara and Alchemy Arts Collective out of Oakland.  A perfect fit for the vision of this one of a kind Central Coast Festival.

As well as featuring 30+ local food & retail vendors, there will be local beer, wine, cocktails, ALL DAY LIVE MUSIC Lineup, Aphrodisiac Lounge, “The Big O” of Central Coast Chef Award along with the “Best of Shuck” Shucking Contest Sponsored by Hog Island Oyster Co. This full day of top-notch food, spirits, music, and fun is only $20 (Advance Tickets – Food & Drink Purchased Separately). $10 Tasting Tickets will be available to sample one of each of the Ten Restaurants Special Recipe Pacific Gold Oysters, so you can judge for yourself and vote on who is the best on our mobile app. Once again, we will provide FREE water to support our ZERO WASTE and GOOD FOR HEALTH event and stainless steel souvenir water bottles will be available to purchase for only $10! We are very excited to make this event even better than last year, with on-site parking, no shuttle lines, more vendors and an amazing line up of music, along with a full Foodie Stage highlighting the local Central Coast food, a yearly treasure we are thrilled to share again with you!
